High Court of Punjab and Haryana Recruitment 2018: High court of Punjab and Haryana Chandigarh, Society for Centralized Recruitment of Staff in Subordinate Courts has announced a notification for the post of Clerk, Stenographer Grade III, and Driver. Total Post: 39
Age limit: Candidates age should between 18 to 37 years as on 01-01-2018. Age relaxation is applicable for SC is 05 years and OBC/BC is 03 years.
Educational Qualification: Interested Candidates applying for Clerk Should passed the Graduation Degree from a recognized board or university.
Steno: Graduation and should have proficiency in operation of Computer.
Driver: Middle Pass with Punjabi/Hindi as one of the subject, The Candidates should have a valid license for L.T.V. with 2 years of experience of driving a car.
Selection Process: Clerk: Candidates selection will be based on written test. The candidates who qualify the written examination, the number of candidates as decided by Hon’ble the Central Recruitment Committee may be called for Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) i.e. to access the proficiency of candidates in operation of the computer (word processing and spreadsheets).
Steno: Candidates Selection will be based on Shorthand test and its Transcription at the speed of 80 words per minutes and 20 words per minutes respectively. The Candidates will also have to qualify a Computer Proficiency Test (word processing and spreadsheets), who qualify the English Shorthand Test and Computer Proficiency Test will be called for checking of original testimonials/interaction.
Driver: In case large numbers of applications are received then the Hon’ble Central Recruitment Committee may consider shortlisting the candidates on the basis of their performance in objective type written test consisting of G.K and awareness, Knowledge of traffic sign/rules and driving skills question. And shortlists candidates as per merit will be called for the practical driving test to check the driving knowledge of driving skills/rules/signs.
